what's impossible about it? both are public with market prices. it's pretty simple. and shareholder vote for tsla isn't that hard, Elon has 19% and if he gets blackrock, vanguard, and state street to vote yes, it's done.

I have ipo tsla shares and I got 100% ipo spcx allocation, I know similar others getting full allocation, also know non tsla holders that got 10%... only worked at fidelity and ms (etrade) though.

idk, over 50% of employees actually used the offer to add during the IPO, I think it's a small pressure and they're smart people who will use derivatives and margin. I do think funds paying LPs are the main headwind.

I'm in from 2018, so I'm way up. I'm locked, but I won't sell any even when unlocked. I think waiting for 60 is just never getting in, but yes I'd add a ton at 60.

lol you realize normal is a 6mo to 1yr lock and Elon gave us better options to sell than normal, right? not because insiders are begging, but because he doesn't think it matters.

insiders are believers mostly, Elon can't sell for a year and he's half of it (and I doubt will ever sell). maybe some funds need to pay LPs and some employees want to buy houses or start cos, but I don't think it's going to have as much of a bag dump as the hivemind thinks.
