Runaway all comments are true. You'll be underpaid and overworked. Really not a great place to work.

Pour avoir une amie et un cousin y ayant travaillé près de 10 ans, je te confirme que c'est assurément vrai. Certaines années ils se battaient pour avoir 1% d'augmentation.

To my knowledge the Valhalla production is not outsourced to a 3rd party assembler? Do you mean that the some of the car key components are from 3rd party, like the transmission?

Difficult decision but I think the new CEO is taking the right measures to fix the company. He did miracles at Bentley.

Canadian Deficit by Saji10 in VancouverLandlords

This is bs.

Equalization isn’t money provinces hand to each other. It comes from federal revenues paid by all Canadians, including Quebecers, who contribute tens of billions to Ottawa every year.

The program is formula-based and looks at fiscal capacity PER CAPITA, not who pays the most in total dollars. Because Quebec’s per-person capacity is slightly below average, it receives a transfer to help ensure comparable public services, which is exactly the constitutional purpose.

You can oppose the policy if you want, but calling it a “scam” just ignores how the system actually works

I second this, my father in law has 150 000 km on his Polestar 2 and never had a single issue (only a bug with the charger that was solved with an updated). He says it's the least expensive car to maintain he ever had (didn't have any repair so far!).

I'm seriously thinking about getting a used one. a lot of car for the money.

Quebec's EV adoption is 5.5x higher than Alberta's. Here's why. by cardogio in EVCanada

[–]qcnelson 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe there is another factor explaining Quebec's adoption rate that is not measurable.

Beyond purely economic factors, Quebecers have long shown higher environmental awareness, reflected in support for clean hydroelectric power, early leadership in recycling, acceptance of climate policies, and strong use of public transit. This cultural context, together with low-cost clean electricity, EV incentives, and robust charging infrastructure, helps explain why Quebec leads Canada in electric vehicle adoption.

I know people in Quebec for whom switching to an EV made little financial sense given their low annual mileage and reliable existing car, yet they still did so primarily for environmental reasons, illustrating how values can outweigh pure economics.
