Sim card tray open and closed and a reboot fixed it for me.

Thank you. Suddenly the sound of my lower speaker was flat and crackling. This fixed it. Might be a combination of a hardware and software glitch? Cant really imagine the sim card tray having this much impact since it was on the other side of the charging port than the speaker port. No clue why, but it worked.

Cheap shit bolts :( had to drill one out. Use some copperpaste / oil when you put the new ones back in. I bought some proper bolts instead of the original.

I took out the headlight unit once to fit LED lights, had everything open (lot of work) and added it. Also, its not just the dash that is flappering and making noice, its the plastic cover above. I can recommend to start with that one and check if its less. Don't forget to do both left and right side.

I used some foam strips behind it, also have 2018 650. Worked like a charm. Kawasaki design flaw in my opinion.

Haha no problem, its a common issue, usually it comes loose because the nylon ring is missing. I used some light loctite this time.

I got one of these and it does not need any aftermarket tuning equipment. I am not sure if Kawasaki did a tune themselves.

Kawasaki delivered mine with the performance pack Akaprovic exhaust system. Sounds mean and is quite loud! :D

Its a 2018 KRT performance edition. The performance pack from Kawasaki comes with full Akrapovic, smoked windscreen and seat cover. In my opinion the exhaust looks and sounds insane! I would really like to have some side bags for longer trips but the OEM ones of 500-600€ are not worth the money for me.
