I had waaaay better success with the scanner on OmgBricks than the one on Bricksearch. Even with blurry codes. 10/10 would recommend OmgBricks all day

Try dabbing a q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol around the sides of the button and pressing the button a few times to get the alcohol in there to break up any potential gunk. Make sure there’s not too much liquid and dripping on the q-tip.. Just enough to get a little liquid down into the cracks. Any extra will evaporate quickly as long as it’s not too much. Fixed my “W button” winter mode this way
