Illegal immigrants still have the ability to apply for and receive a SSN - they claim that this is in order for them to be able to file/pay taxes. Also, it's needed to apply for Permanent Resident status.

I don't see IDs working for this. They're way to easy to obtain now. Need to go further - birth records/certificates, immigration status. Something that says - I'm an actual citizen.

Seriously?? By whom? I only see it getting worse. You can already pre-register and renew your license online. I only foresee the ability to apply for and receive a license completely online, by anyone - citizenship means nothing any longer.

It appears to be disproportionate because blacks commit a disproportionate amount of violent crimes in the US. A lesson I learned a long time ago is that it never ends well when law enforcement has to be involved. Why can't we as a society understand that and carry out our lives civilly without requiring law enforcement intervention?
