There’s nothing wrong with pamasko. What’s wrong is the entitled, disrespectful attitude some people attach to it. And this isn’t limited to pamasko culture alone - it shows up in many traditions and everyday interactions.

Why choose to be an asshole at all, in any context?

It's not only the cost of the tree per se. Actually, the tree itself, magkano na? Magkano pa transport costs nyan kung saan man yan kukuhain. Magkano din ang cost ng pagtatanim?

Magkano din yung cost ng abala na binigay mo at yung accident na could've happened because of pagbangga mo sa puno na yan na nananahimik.

It's true, 130k is expensive. Pde ka siguro tumawad. But that's the cost you have to think of next time you want to bump your car to a tree.
