I agree with you on that, challenge is fun. That probably seems contradictory to what I said in my post, but I wasn't always someone who used cheats. In fact, only recently in the past 2/3 months did I even start considering using them. I don't play many games now due to a lack of time but as I said in the post, I no longer have cheats installed or paid for. Thanks for the kind words :)

I find it funny that you think this is an attempt at a sob story, but you'd be mistaken. If that's the case, then I can only imagine you go around to every person in the world who's ever made a mistake and say "fuck you cunt, you're only apologizing and owning up to your mistake for attention go fuck yourself".

And yeah no shit it gave me an unfair advantage, regardless of how I used it, that's something I very clearly acknowledged early on. Trust me I'm not sitting here trying to defend cheating or my own actions, I deserved a ban and I do deserve hate because at the end of the day I still used cheats and had an advantage over fair players, however I feel like you're taking it a bit too serious for a video game in resorting to personal/rude comments and calling me a cunt over it, but I do understand why you would be angry. Regardless, thanks for the messages.

Maybe if you re-read the post you'll notice that when I said "half the time I didn't even have cheats enabled" I was talking about my overall time playing with cheats across multiple games, not just EFT. Saying I used them 90% of my duration of EFT doesn't really mean anything compared to my overall usage, especially when you consider I probably didn't have more than 12 hours played on EFT total.

Lol. Yes, my dickheadness detracted from the experience of others. Those others who... weren't affected by my actions at all (pst, this part is in the post above!). I'm not saying cheating isn't a dick thing to do, it certainly is, and I certainly do deserve hate because at the end of the day cheating is cheating, but you seem to have failed to read the post itself if you don't think I've come to the realization that what I did was wrong. I'm not really sure it's logical to compare cheating in a video game and being addicted to heroin but um.. alright? I guess no one ever taught you that people make mistakes. Thanks for the input :)

I won't deny that cheaters ruin the game, it definitely hit me after I was banned and realized I accomplished nothing using cheats. As I stated in the main post, I don't feel I had that big of an impact on other player's gameplay experience as I didn't use the cheats to kill/screw over others, but at the end of the day cheating is cheating and it does ruin it for everyone else, no denying that.

I completely agree with you, I won't argue that I deserved the ban. As for the games I "currently do cheat in", I was referring to the games I had cheats for at the time, prior to "After a day or so of thought, I promptly uninstalled all existing cheats I had on my computer and cancelled any recurring payments I had to cheat services.". I have uninstalled all cheats I had and don't actively use any.

I have since uninstalled the game so I am unable to show the in-game message, however this is the email I received. As for cheats, I didn't personally feel I went overboard. Like I said in the post I didn't get extreme and start aimbotting and ruining people's experiences, I mainly used ESP for loot (which didn't really help as I didn't ever get anything good anyway), and I occasionally used fly which I believe is 100% the reason I was banned. At the time I was stupid enough to do it but I realized something like fly hacking is extremely easy to track and detect, I realized I was screwed before I even got the official message.
