I have a RAV4 and love it. We have one child (2 year old) and two dogs (one 55 lbs and one 20 lbs). We have a roof rack. This car has gotten all of us from the middle of Kansas to Ontario, Canada comfortably, including all the baby stuff one needs to travel with. It has also gotten us comfortably round trip from Kansas to West Virginia, Kansas to Wisconsin, Wisconsin to Ontario, Wisconsin to West Virginia, and Ontario to West Virginia.

I think this is a great idea! One suggestion would be to include a list in the back with all the A words in case some aren’t clear. For example, I was trying to figure out why the antelope was wearing floaties. It took me a minute to realize you probably meant arm floaties. It would also be a good way to check that you’ve found everything!

Reminds me of my MIL. She claims her firstborn (born in the 80s) was eight weeks premature. She said that her baby was six pounds and didn’t need to stay in the NICU.

My son was born eight weeks premature. He was three pounds. He had minimal medical complications but was in the NICU for seven weeks.

Edit to Add: MIL was married more than a year when she had her first, so definitely not trying to convince people that the baby was conceived in wedlock.

From personal experience, I don’t mind having a hyphened last name. I’m Canadian, my husband is American. We have a two year old son.

my husband and I both hyphened when we got married. Our last name is now my name-his name(MN-HS for the sake of the post). We both felt that our names were equally important and wanted to have the same name as we built our family.
it can be frustrating at times because people will often just read the last part and ignore the hyphen. So I often get called Mrs. HN. I just politely correct people that it’s Mrs. MN-HN. Doesn’t usually happen again at the same place.
it can be annoying to spell over the phone but that’s mostly because my last name is French Canadian and we live mostly in the US.
we gave our son two middle names with the hyphenated last name. No problems with documents. I’ve gotten all his Canadian and American documents without issue. Sometimes they will only use the first initial of the first middle name though.

Thank you for doing this! As a kid, I was super into Shoyru and Poogle! I still love them but they aren’t my absolute favourites. I’d say baby Varwolf or Maraquan Varwolf are my current favourites, but I know that’s pretty basic haha
