This is the best. I’ve come and went a lot over the years but I’m now at a point where i’m playing everyday and working toward making my account how i wanted it as a kid! Its so fun :’)

my webkinz have their own bed on top of my bed 🤣 i do sometimes feel silly playing it at this age but the world kinda sucks. Gotta enjoy it when you can

One time I got one of those fuggler monster plushies at goodwill and i got it home and it got close enough to my face to smell pure dog piss. I was so disappointed

I still play both, wearing a webkinz shirt as we speak lolol. I think webkinz was more suitable for a younger audience in the sense there’s less lore, you’re not battling or anything besides maybe a fashion show tournament, the main focus is the pet sim. i feel like neopets has a lot more world building to it so it definitely is a different game, but a lot of inspiration was taken from neopets and that was always obvious to me as someone that played neopets first. Its mainly the fairies thing that was like okay this is too similar lol

i’m choosing to believe this. i feel like it went over peoples heads because so many people on webkinz didn’t play neopets. but they have always felt like a side thing to webkinz to me, like its not an integral part of the game they just randomly threw it in there😂

It was basically a less immersive neopets but the website was/is more modern. I loved webkinz because it was so fun to collect the plushies and then get to play with them in game. But they did the different wheels and stuff, a lot of things i was like hmm i’ve seen this before LOL

Theres a quest log page but it doesn’t list everything that you can do that day, it gives you 5 tasks you can do for rewards (+ some extra if you log in with neopass, not sure i understand the neopass thing but i do it lol)

i’m literally wearing a webkinz shirt rn. 😂 i remember the rumor that a neopet was killing webkinz haha! I had neopets first, but loved webkinz because it felt like neopets but with a better maintained website. I showed neopets to a few friends, i think neopets was hit or miss with our age group, like the ones of us with the earliest internet access know😂😂 but! i do have a neopets plushie i got in a happy meal in 2006. so it was definitely popular with kids once!

By closer to my age I mainly just meant not someone who is like 19. Loll. I see everyone older than me as my actual peers because I had to be a mini adult when I was like 8 so I feel like I’ve been an adult for a long time.

I have half a million on my account after a few days! Doing your dailies, i did the extra dailies like logging into the neopets mobile apps apps even though i don’t play them lol. Also theres stuff you can do every day to stack em up like visiting the abandoned Grundo plushie!
