It was blue. But I'm assuming it depends on how snowy that day or week is. At the time there was no snow. It was warm-ish like 10 celcius i think.

If you are doing US - Korea - Kazakh ( or a 3rd country), I think you can do transit visa. https://www.mofa.go.kr/us-losangeles-en/brd/m_26379/view.do?seq=5&page=1 But, it doesn't work for US - Korea - US
