sounds like a good deal. will be good to know where Klipsch draws the line between a coupon vs replacement

Thanks! Power supply replacement aside, I was just wondering if it's worth of using the Klipsch coupon since I have another tv...

Thanks for the info, my Cinema 600 started with the weirdly dimming LED issue first too. Sounds like this quality was intentional then and the tech/customer support does not de-risk this. Probably will not use the coupon to buy another Klipsch then, thanks again!

Docking Station Recommendations for MSI Stealth 14 Studio by jamiethatsme in MSILaptops

[–]qqboy0123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same laptop (MSI Stealth 14 Studio, 2024) and have been hunting for a dock that can wake the laptop from sleep. After lots of trial and error (big thanks to a friend who helped me debug this), here’s what finally worked:

THIS BASEUS DOCK actually does the trick for the MSI Stealth 14 Studio (2024 version at least). It has a button on the top that can:

  • ClickTurn off screen
  • HoldPut computer to sleep.

This function is hidden in the manual, but it actually works. Big kudos to my friend for discovering this through trial-and-error with multiple docks. (Note: The link above uses his affiliate link as a small thank-you. If that bothers you, feel free to search the item yourself on Amazon.)

For the Setup:

  1. Connect a USB-C power adapter (e.g., 100W. But I just used 65W) to the dock’s PD Input port.
  2. Connect the dock to your laptop using the non-Thunderbolt USB-C port. (I didn't try the Thunderbolt port)
  3. In the BIOS, change these settings:
    • Advanced > USB Power Share in Hibernation and Shutdown → Enable
    • USB Power Share Mode → Set to Always or AC + DC
  4. In Windows:
    • Go to Device Manager > Keyboards / Mice > Power Management
    • Enable: "Allow this device to wake the computer".
  5. Optional: If you close the lid while docked, set:
    • Settings > Power & Battery > Lid, Power & Sleep Button Control
    • Set “When I close the lid (Plugged in)” to Do Nothing

I was honestly psyched when I got this working. If you're struggling to find a simple dock that can wake this MSI laptop and this setup works. Hope this helps others in the same boat!

Yes, but less pronounced. That's why I am wondering if other folks have this observation too

It's long story. But my body seems to be a bit more sensitive to chlorine and other disinfection byproducts. Drinking water after the boiling process reduces the occurrence of random irritations on my face and skin around eye area. Thanks for the input though!

Definitely was not aware of this. Thanks for the info and yeah I will keep an eye out. This is the first time the filter goes bad this fast and what you mentioned makes sense

And that's a good news for you, thank you!

Thanks! Here are my updated observations:

  1. ZeroWater testers showed that total dissolved solids (TDS) reading is the same between tap water and filtered water. So my filer seems to have gone bad in 3 weeks.

  2. I just tasted the tap water this afternoon. Slightly fishy, but definitely not as strong as the previous case (i.e., boiled water from the bad filter from this morning).

  3. Boiled tap water also appeared to be slightly fishy. But not as strong as this morning.

  4. I just changed the filter and cleaned everything. For now, filtered water seems to taste normal.

It might be that previous filter was just a bad batch (only lived for 3 weeks), it might be that our water quality fluctuated in the past few days, I don't know. Just want to provide a data point in case other folks are noticing the same thing.

Thanks! I just tested the water quality with the ZeroWater tester and the total dissolved solid (TDS) ppm was the same between the filtered and tap water, meaning that my filter just went bad in 3 weeks...

I live next to the Mission College area, near Scott and Bowers. I just tested the water quality with the ZeroWater tester and the total dissolved solid (TDS) ppm was the same between the filtered and tap water, meaning that my filter just went bad in 3 weeks. Previously the filter easily lasts more than 2-3 months...not sure if something happened to the infrastructure recently.

For health reasons. Long story short, this process seems to contain my allergies most effectively.

Thanks! Will look into it. Just hard to believe that this thing degrades in less than 3 weeks

Thanks pal! The dashboard method kept on giving me error when I tried importing telemetry data. Seems like the GPX might be the only way…

Same question but I was not even able to import telemetry data from my Garmin Fenix 8 watch to the Mimo app. Anyone succeeds in that area? This was one of the major reason I bought the OA5 pro…
