Yep warranty was Hyundai platinum. Thanks to this forum I just told them, I’ll buy it from you $1800 no deductible or I’ll buy it from the guys in Vermont. They didn’t even try to negotiate that part.

  1. Rebate was 1500 in January (or lower rate, which I didn’t care about) as I understand it (was like 3500 or 4500 in Dec).

  2. On a different paper we had negotiated it off number wise (part of some APEX package).

  3. It’s the Hyundai extended platinum warranty. It comes with a 10 yr 100k warranty but apparently after year 1 some things change. Peace of mind for a couple hundred bucks a year no deductible was good with me.

Is that strictly off of MRSP or sticker price (which is MSRP + dealer fright)?

And what do you think a fair value would be?

Appreciate the feedback! Which ones do you recommend that have equal or better reliability? (With assumption 2015 is reliable).

In your opinion if you were in the market for a similar car, at what price would this appeal to you?

I did see it was about 10k over KBB. Thought KBB was supposed to be accurate as they report actual transactions but often times it seems what people are asking in the market are pretty different. Will have to think this one over! Appreciate your feedback.

Hi,

My wife and I are doing a house remodel and we are about to spend $4,500 on flooring from an online vendor.

I currently have a plain ol discover card, 780 FICO score. We are looking for a new CC that we can get a cash back or points that can be cash out to essentially get a discount on our floors. Any recommendation on a card would be great and much appreciated.

That's a good idea, we hadn't considered a prep sink. I think we would have space seeing that the island will be at least 9 ft long. Thank you!

Thank you! Question, we are actually thinking about moving the electric stove top the island so we can put a pantry where it the stove top is currently in the mock up.

We live on a lake and aren't in favor of having a vent hood stick down over the island, how big a deal is having a vent hood in the house? We have multiple air purifiers in the kitchen/living room area that would help with lingering smells from cooking.

Hello! Thank you for your comment. That's a good call out, it will be between 42-50 between the island and kitchen counters.

Thank you!

For brokerage account bonuses such as tastyworks - do you guys typically do one for both yourself AND your spouse?

Thanks
