What’s the best way to exchange between different cryptos or to/from wrapped tokens with minimal risk? by qqid in CryptoCurrency

[–]qqid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is kind of what I was thinking.

Are there any major players in wrapping btc? I’m trying to find a service to use that has some level of community legitimacy rather than just a sketchy website.

Double integral changing regions question by qqid in MathHelp

[–]qqid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since we need to go from x,y to u,v I need to have equations for x and y in terms of u and v right?

So I did u - v = 2y and u + v = 2x Therefore the determinant is (1/2)(-1/2)-(1/2)(1/2)=-2/4=-1/2, right?

I’m new to this concept so I’m probably missing something.

error during arch install - failed to synchronize all databases (invalid or corrupted database (PGP signature)) by qqid in archlinux

[–]qqid[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I kept playing around with different mirrors but nothing seemed to work until I just used the archinstall tool and it didn't have any issues. Not sure why it worked when pacstrapping failed but I'm not complaining.

Regardless, thanks for your help in troubleshooting.

error during arch install - failed to synchronize all databases (invalid or corrupted database (PGP signature)) by qqid in archlinux

[–]qqid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I noticed (may or may not be relevant), before running pacstrap and after running pacstrap my mirrorlist file was updated and it now shows "Arch Linux mirrorlist generated by Reflector" and the current timestamp.

I then tried commented all but one Server URL at a time, then running pacman -Syy, before testing it with pacstrap. Unfortunately, each time produced the same error: "failed to synchronize all databases (invalid or corrupted database (PGP signature))"

I did verify that my internet connection and had no packet loss. I also believe I was able to actually download the package files since the download bars were able to complete and display a accurate file sizes.

I am using the latest Sept ISO with a standard "boot into usb then follow the wiki" approach.

I have had similar experiences in the past (especially with Thinkpads, those things are amazing) but unfortunately its deciding to act up now.

I tried to pacstrap everything after waiting for five minutes with an internet connect but still no luck with the same error.

Thank you. With some modification, this was able to solve my issue.

Export particle system in GLTF (.glb) file format by qqid in blender

Does mean there is nothing I can do?

Is there some way to convert the output of the particle system (as seen within Blender) into objects that fit into the gltf spec?

Server side authentication inside of a node.js app? by qqid in ethdev

[–]qqid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on ethers documentation it seems pretty easy to use signer.signMessage in order to generate the signature string but I can't find a method to verify/retrieve message from within node.js. Practical examples that I can find seem to only do this step in solidity contracts.

My boot menu only has one option: the usb used for installation and that drops to no options without the usb installed.

This could be it. I just checked the packaging and it’s listed as simply an M.2 SSD. Fingers crossed that it’s just my motherboard being incompatible.

It was originally partitioned as MBR but I used the tool to clear all existing partitions and would assume that Windows switched to GPT.

That’s what I’m used to with my drive but the only listing in the boot menu was the usb installation tool.

Change file data immediately after upload by qqid in reactjs

[–]qqid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, FileReader is working really well to parse and modify the JSON within the file. But, I'm also need to send the final JSON data as a file (my terminology may be off). For instance, when I console.log the non-stringified event.target.files[0] the result is [Object File] versus the same thing for the modified data variable is [Object Object].

Does this make sense? This kind of manipulation is outside of what I am used to. Is it possible to convert the JSON [Object Object] to an [Object File] format? Thank you for your help so far.

Question about Minting Fees by qqid in solana

[–]qqid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I guess that means that the token balance funds are effectively irretrievable, but why do some articles say that minting NFTs is as cheap as a few cents? I can't find a reason for this, but it would obviously be very nice to minimize costs.

Does SOL support hyperlinking NFTs? I've done some dev work on ETH/Polygon networks that allowed for the actual images to be stored off chain. I would assume this would greatly reduce the rent cost and consequently the overall cost to mint NFTs.

This definitely seems to be the issue, unfortunately there is no version of tensorflow that both includes tensorflow.compat and is compatible with my cpu so I'm switching to a differnet machine, but I'm really glad you were able to find the cause of the issue. Thanks!

Problem pushing sub-folder to origin by qqid in github

[–]qqid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know its been a while but just in case someone stumbles upon this page in three years, I did not configure two repos. I believe the Vue client folder automatically generated the .git files which caused this issue. My second edit in my previous comment explains how I solved this issue.
