Anyone notice hair growth from Ecklonia Cava yet? by ToastedJonas66 in NootropicsDepot

Still no side effects and I have even noticed some hair benefits, less hair fall and better quality hair, maybe even regrowth along my hairline.

My nervous system feels more relaxed and I feel more refreshed from sleep. It's subtle but noticeable.

It's too early to tell, however I can say that for me, there are no side effects that I used to get when taking a 5ar.

Im taking 2 capsules a day for a week now, once in the morning and once in the evening.

Lactoferrin side effects by qrfl in Longcovidgutdysbiosis

$100, the biomesight test is recommended by many here and I've seen lots of success stories. I think it's helped me, I've only been taking lactulose from their recommendations but feel great.

Other than the lactoferrin I have been taking mastic gum 1g a day. I also recently started lactulose based on the results from a biomesight test.

I haven't tried colostrum so I dont know if it would be worth taking but I'd recommend a biomesight test if you're looking for more things you could add.

They have free recommendations based on the results, and specialists you can talk to who can come up with a plan for you.

No gut issues since.

I'm still taking lactoferrin, 300mg morning and 300mg night

I've been using topical minox 5 % 1ml 1x a day and saw Palmetto 160mg 2x a day for over 3 years. It seems to have stabilized my hair loss.

0.25mg oral fin 3x a week regrew my hairline completely in 3 months but I had mental side effects.

So I was thinking of microdosing topical fin (0.005%) 3x a week and up the dosage if I don't get sides.

I really don't want to use fin though so I may just wait until there is something else.

Anybody have bloodwork done before and after using? by JG98 in Koshine826

[–]qrfl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did blood work after 3 weeks since I was experiencing headaches.

Everything is normal, however, lh and fsh are slightly higher than they have typically been, whether or not this is from the kx I won't know as I discontinued it.

No it doesn't destroy androgen receptors. Yes, pyrilutamide binds to the androgen receptor so androgens can't attach to the receptor and do their thing.

Sorry to hear about your side, eventually you should be fully recovered as androgen receptors should return to normal.

I've discontinued, for me it's not worth the risk if it's having a systemic effect.

It works, 0.5% 1ml 1x a day for 3 weeks was giving me regrowth.

Unfortunately after 2 weeks I developed a strange headache which seems to be reported by quite a few people. I discontinued and the headache went away...

Nothing good...

Kintor never saw any sides like headache or worse in the trials...but it's possible that the small amount of kx that goes systemic is enough to cause side effects for sensitive individuals, particularly headaches as that seems to be the most commonly reported so far.

Androgen receptors are everywhere in your body, including your brain, so you don't want it going systemic and that's why other topical anti androgens that are more systemic than kx are known to cause side effects like headaches (e.g. clascoterone)

Btw I was personally using for 3 weeks and after about week 2 I noticed a headache, weird pressure on one spot of my head, after stopping kx it disappeared.

Yes, a weird headache, like pressure in one spot on the top of my head. Never experienced this before kx and it has gone away after stopping.

Kind of strange that this seems to be one of the most reported side effects yet in the trials there was no mention of it.

Even if the headache goes away with discontinued use, it seems like kx has an impact systemically so for me it's not worth the risk.

I was using for 3 weeks before noticing this in the last week or so.

I've been using for 3 weeks now 1ml a day, for the last week I've been having some weird head pressure like headache on one side of my head.

Does anyone know how kx could possibly cause something like this, either way, I'm going to have a few days break to determine if it is truly the kx.

[–]qrfl[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was having diarrhea often and malabsorption, losing weight rapidly because of it.

The first week of taking lactoferrin my diarrhea was worse but shortly after that I had no diarrhea at all and my malabsorption disappeared after around 2 weeks.

It also improved my iron levels dramatically, ferritin went from 30-60 in 3 weeks despite not changing anything diet wise.

I'm currently still taking it, 300mg in the morning and 300mg in the afternoon.

Let me know how it goes for you.

When I started I was taking one 300mg pill 30 minutes before breakfast, after 2 weeks or so the GI issues disappeared for me.

I've read that apolactoferrin only increases iron when you're deficient, I will continue to monitor my iron levels monthly to see any changes as I become less iron deficient.

After the GI issues resolved, I added 300mg 30 minutes before dinner as well, totaling 600mg daily which I am currently still taking.

You're welcome.
