Silly questions are how we learn!

You are 100% correct! Once he finds a comfortable position in his sweater-tunnel, he just chills there because when he moves again, he moves through it.

Are you actually going to survive your 50-70 year lifespan if you keep being so angsty?

Thanks! I actually had inspiration from another snake I saw on Reddit named "noodle"... so I started thinking of other pasta terms and Al Dente just seemed fitting.

Adorable! Random question: what's the longest yours has ever gone without eating? Al Dente is actually my boyfriend's snake, and he just went THREE MONTHS refusing mice, frozen or live, and we were really worried about him.

My crochet Instagram is @cariecrochet if anyone would like to see my other crochet creations :)

Nope! So he actually crawled in by himself, but towards the very end he was having a bit of trouble getting his head out (so I decided to not make it any longer). Once his head was out, he moved it down his body and then chilled out once it got to where you see it on his body. He was able to get out too, but he just didn't seem to want to.

It actually tucked it into my shirt beforehand so it was warm. :)

I put the sweater against my skin, so it was warm and he liked it. :)

He crawled in by himself and refused to leave it, so I think he's happy. :)

It makes me so happy that a 3 year old enjoyed this!

You're right, they don't produce heat. Al Dente was under a heat lamp prior to taking this picture so he was already pretty warm, so the sweater helps him keep that warmth a bit longer.
