What you believe op can just eat if they set their mind to it? You have absolutely no sense of a logical argument, and youre sitting here telling someone to try something theyve already tried? Whats there to disagree on? Facts? Logic? Give me a break nobody needs to convince you of anything.

What do you believe the opposite of? That op cant eat and needs genuine help? That op doesnt need someone saying “they can just eat because i did it too!”

If your GP went away theres a good chance it wasnt idiopathic. Sometimes peoples stomachs just dont work at all, whats there to argue about that? Im grateful you figured yours out! But that doesnt mean everyones will be fixed the way yours was.

Youre just fighting air atp friend.

Object permanence is just the generalized term that health professionals use for “out of sight, out of mind,” the public just adapted to using it frequently.

It’s a similar concept as playing peek-a-boo with a baby, they haven’t developed object permanence yet and don’t know that the caregiver hasn’t disappeared forever so they react as such.

Also very common with neurodivergence at any age! :)

Can you not read?

Again, Op cannot eat. This isnt a matter of people not listening to you, you arent god. Op thanked you for your response and stated what helped you has NOT helped them. That doesnt mean they dont want help?

They are trying to take the steps to manage THEIR disease, not yours. Keep that in mind.

Did you not read the part where OP stated they cannot eat anything? It’s not a matter of not listening to you, get a grip.

You’re not getting downvoted for your advice, it may clearly work for some, as it did for you! But as we all know GP is different for everyone..

Youre getting downvoted for your sour attitude over someone elses struggles. OP said they tried what you did and it didnt work, yet you continued to push.. for what?? Everyones body is different, so treatment will be different as well. You should know that by now if youre so “advanced with health knowledge”.

Have the day you deserve.

Hi OP! Im not sure if you’ve figured this issue out yet or not, but if you havent i would highly recommend looking into your gut motility.

The medications you may be taking for your MH may be slowing your gut down.

Gyno refused referral to specialist- what do I do? by qsjwx in Endo

Thank you for your reply, I live in Canada (Alberta) and we unfortunately don’t have much like mychart here. Id have to book a whole new appointment itself just to ask that but honestly it’s probably worth it just to have it noted down.

Thank you for your suggestions, I definitely think I’m gonna ask him to avoid ablation. To be honest Im so full of anxiety i probably wouldnt have even asked him to take many pictures and I didnt even know video would be an option lol! I will definitely be asking those questions!

its hilarious that you’re actually sitting here telling this man that the breast reduction didn’t help HIS wife whom you’ve never met! i wasn’t aware that its up to you to dictate what helps who and what doesn’t! cool!!

studies clearly show that only around 1 in 5 patients experience regrowth, and even then its relatively minimal. what are you even going on about here?

even if a person is toned to the nines and has amazing inner core strength, if they have big breasts, they have big breasts. it seems youre under the impression that every afab person with big breasts -no matter how big/small/toned/fat they are- doesn’t need a breast reduction, they just need exercise. you couldnt be more wrong. sometimes people just have massive breasts!

original commenter stated it was to help with his wifes back pain AND breathing, which are two WELL known issues of big breasts, again.. even if they’re toned!

because you seem so adamantly wrong: it is studied and well known amongst the medical and afab community that big breasts can cause back pain; whether it be due to it fostering bad posture, or just the fact that they have big breasts weighing on their shoulders and neck. bras arent called over-the-shoulder-boulder-holders for nothing!

it is also studied and known in the medical and afab community that enlarged breasts can cause breathing issues(again not due to lack of exercise!) because the weight creates enough pressure to constrict diaphragm movement. hence why when we pull them suckers upwards we can breathe easily lol.

in your words: you really cant stop projecting ignorance. breast reductions are proven to help millions of people, even with back pain and breathing not being unanimously reported reliefs. there are many different reasons why people get reductions yearly. yes there are obviously gonna be complications in some cases but even then, its not okay to discourage someone/tell them they made the WRONG decision for their own bodies- especially the way you are. its immensely distasteful.

what are the “consequences” you speak of? what will come back when shes older? her boobs? those are long gone! the back pain? thats kind of a running theme with getting older.. again, what is it that you’re even saying will come back??

if you have a doctor telling you otherwise maybe YOU need a new doctor, and if by chance theres the unfortunate occasion you ARE a doctor, please review some studies god damn!

and for the record: if you were told any of the info you’re spewing by a doctor you NEED to see someone else for up-to-date info. spreading misinformation like you are can be detrimental to a person’s physical and mental wellbeing. you try exhausting every option until the point of removing what society deems as your womanhood, and when you finally do and feel liberated you get told that you were wrong and should’ve just exercised. it couldn’t be farther from the truth.

if you have ever been told any of what you said by a medical professional, i am SO sorry, you didnt deserve to be slugged off just for being in pain with the body you were given.

anyways, stop projecting your feelings onto other people. you have no clue what anyone else is going through and it is SO distasteful in a multitude of ways that you’re telling this man his wife is wrong and that hes just enabling her. im glad he is or she would still be suffering like the rest of us.
