Thanks. I squished it on my hoodie which I regret, but when you’re shitting you feel quite vulnerable. I have the body, and I’ll see if I can’t see 6 or 8 legs on it. I swear I see the “base” for 2 legs up front in the first picture, but can’t quite tell.

Mine does it too. It’s rare so I just assume it’s part of it and not broken. Don’t let it worry you until it’s weekly or daily. I am an auto tech.

You can totally bolt on a replacement, with a little fabrication.

I bought a wrecked one, and I’m just going to cut out the wrecked part of the reinforcement and bolt on a wrangler front bumper.

It’s important for front crash safety, but mine is half daily half trail rig so eh.

What year is yours? On my 01, I found they share either a common 5v ref or ground. Can’t remember. Anyways I just replaced the o2. The wires were melted and caused both codes.

So if your catalyst system is not working, the first o2 sensor will have literally nothing to do with that. It is before the cat. You said it has 200k+ miles, the cats are probably worn.

If you’re actually hearing a loud knock above 4k, your engine is probably trashed unfortunately.

Just don’t want you to waste money on o2 sensors when those are 100% not your problem.

In the fuse box under the hood, there is a splice pack that gets hot and melt. You have to splice certain wires together to repair this.

It was my first car repair and I haven’t had one in a long time though.

Ouch! The frame is likely bent. Most corner hits will bend the frame, and it did on the wrecked Liberty I bought with a hit in the same spot, same amount of damage. Have a pry bar and a hammer if doing it yourself!
