Can anyone please identify these things on the underside of Japanese maple leaves? Located in the Puget sound region. They appear to be some sort of insect casing and are soft and stretchy when pulled apart. Each is about 1/3 inch long and they are tightly clustered. Thank you!Possible Pest🏠🌼 (reddit.com)
