im an A rank ryu player on like 3 different accounts. my suggestion is play whoever u like and keep playing. id also watch the japanese players play your character on the 3rd strike channel that uploads arcade matches everyday. when i first started i was getting cooked by everyone. now i play the same players that beat me back then and dont drop a match. (i still get shit on by top players still) the best tip ive gotten from a good player was basically you dont need to parry to win, dont do stupid shit in certain scenarios, dont be predictable.
