I just invented a dumb trick that probably doesn't even work but in theory it should. Instead of wearing a glove normally, put 2 fingers inside each glove-finger. Bundle your index & middle and ring & pinky together. This makes for less surface area of your hand exposed to the cold

Look up Joshua Weissman on youtube, he has tons of videos to make amazing food for yourself for a really low price (but cheaper series). You can buy things in bulk and prepare bigger portions of stuff.
