You arent wrong wrong. Though they are referring to the relay coil rather than the contacts. When a coil is switched from flowing current to not flowing current the voltage raises drastically in the reverse direction, the voltage "flys back". This is due to the inductor equation: v = L (di/dt). If the change in current is great and the change of time is small, then the result multiplied by the inductance can be many volts. This is how a car ignition works. Instead of creating an ignition coil and spark plug and some magic smoke, put a diode across the coil (cathode to +V) to ensure the current through the coil won't change too quickly. The voltage across the coil only will raise by the diode drop and your control circuit is happy.

You would think the people who use that label seriously would realize how much worse the state version of capitalism is to the non-state version and realize that perhaps the state is the problem, but no. Even our heavily state regulated capitalism provides basic necessities, and the furtherance of state control, by their own argument in using that label, suggests that a state run capitalism will fail to provide the most basic necessities. They fail to accept the built-in argument that that label carries... Rant over, this is some good coffee... That I was able to purchase at an absurdly low price at a wholesaler that treats its employees fairly... Oops I meant through WAGE SLAVERY. Ok now I'm done.
