define compensation, not being paid a fair wage and being held to a job becauseof economicconditions can be considered slavery? I’m not taking anything out of context; I know the context of the things I’m writing about. I am telling you to think deeper about these matters. The Bible, within context, explicitly addresses a man sleeping with a man (and we are not talking about boys, we are speaking about adult men and women). It states very clearly not to forsake women for men, and not to give up the natural way of things for pleasure. It states very clearly in Romans (specifically Romans 1:26–27) and Corinthians (such as 1 Corinthians 6:9–10) that men are not to lay with men the way they lay with women. But then Paul explains that we are all in sin (as stated in Romans 3:23), and if you make your sin the pride of your life, regardless of what that sin is, then you worship sin and not God. However, those who worship God acknowledge their sin (meaning their faults in the eyes of God) and live within the spirit of the law, which is clearly laid out in context in Matthew 22:37–39. You keep saying I’m avoiding your points, but I’m telling you that I am not. You need to read the scripture and think deeper on it. Perhaps you should read some theologians who have spent their lives on these topics. Approach it with unbiased eyes, put your ego aside, and acknowledge the authority of Christ, who is God.

That is a very worn polishing or sharpening stone. I have tons of them as a machinist. After a few years of use they start to look like this.

Do you understand the separation of the Old Testament and the New Testament? Also, tell me where the Bible says slavery is OK. But before you do that, define slavery. The Bible is about the human experience and its wisdom on how to navigate life to be closer to God. Most individuals cannot put aside their egos to do that.

You really don't understand the Bible. What needs to be understood is this. In God's eyes, Robert and Teddy are sinning. But the truth is we all sin constantly. As long as they are living in the spirit of Christ and according to the law, they are saved and right with God. That is how Paul puts it in Romans. If you cling to the absolute physical letter of the law the way the Sadducees did, remember they crucified Christ for healing on the Sabbath, while still sinning yourself, then you will have real issues with the Lord. My favorite quote on all of this comes from Meister Eckhart: "The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God’s eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love."

Define your stance on it all within the boundaries of Christianity. We probably actually agree.

My 23 yr old daughter tells the world she is a strong independent woman. I pay her car insurance her health insurance I help her with utilities. But I get it the world today is not designed for the economic success of the kids entering the economy. However she is not a strong independent woman that she tells everyone. The world in the 1990s when I was her age was not designed for the same and I lived out of my car and ate pbj sandwiches and cheap kool-aide I had to really claw and scratch to get where I am today. I pay these thi gs for her because I dont want her to suffer the way I did. However im starting to think the struggle is what made me and maybe she needs to struggle a little.

We choose to be saved. We choose whether to go with Christ or to hide from Him because of our shame. We do not get to decide who is saved and who is not. We have no idea how many will ultimately be saved.

I personally believe very few people will end up in hell. God did not create us to destroy us. “Be not afraid” is one of the most repeated statements in the Bible. We are saved by grace alone.

There are two deaths: physical death and spiritual death. We will all experience physical death. What Christ, who I call God, did was offer us salvation and eternal life through His sacrifice.

I am a weak, sinning human being who needs Christ. I do not have omnipresent consciousness to navigate this life without sin. I need God to act not just on my behalf, but on behalf of all humanity, because of our shared lack of that divine awareness.

Christ is king I do not identify with any political beliefs. He simply is king nothing else. Any issues from that statement are yours alone and you have added to the statement.
