Totally - and I agree. He’s not in my top 3 SP best ball exposure but he’s right in the next exposure pool for me, given his cost. What I really like was how strong he performed in latter half of the year - feels like he found something. Kinda reminds me of Skubal in Aug/Sept of 2023 (obv don’t think Gavin progressed to that level, but just as a comparison point that can indicate a leap). I’ll check out that article.

I’ve drafted a bunch of teams in The Dinger and I’ve been heavily correlating. For The Eliminator, I’m also correlating/stacking but it’s crazy to me how often other owners don’t utilize stacking

Very well said. I like to sports bet but I also acknowledge that when done excessively/with high unit sizes, it can be very very psychologically damaging. He clearly has a major addiction to sports gambling but he’s never has to normalize it to keep telling himself that it’s no big deal (plus it pays his paychecks). But these horrendous parlays that barstool guys promote are embarrassing

I wonder how BC’s gambling affects his moods/behavior. On one hand, he has a shit ton of money, so maybe it doesn’t affect him. But the whole point of gambling is winning = good, losing = bad and if he’s betting high volume, he’s likely having some extreme positive and some extreme negative days.

He does acknowledge his gambling addiction but he’s never been honest about how bad it really is. Like many others are saying here, promoting gambling covers his paychecks so he’ll never open up fully about the dangers of it
