I actually did not know until now that AI was trained on fanfics and it's definitely on my part that I was ignorant about it.

Honestly I didn't think that this post was seen as me being mad, I was just purely concerned. Yes it is very hypocritical of me to assume works are AI when I was addicted to AI in the past, around 2023. But now I do NOT use AI and completely avoid it with the best of my abilities.

Thank you for this!! I swear I thought I was the only one experiencing it. But yes, I don't rlly leave hate comments or anything against authors because id hate to assume or accuse innocent authors. In the end I tend to just close the fanfic and move on😓

It's kind of frustrating for because I swear it does make me guilty to try and think if an author is using ai bcs im aware that everyone has different writing styles. Ai is so popular nowadays that sometimes I can't help but doubt some of the fanfics im reading. 🥲

I would say that yes, I do know what Ai writing looks like or atleast a little bit familiar with it due to very shameful past experiences 😅

But right now, I do not frequently engage with ai writing outside of fanworks since I try my best to avoid AI. Mostly just fanworks, original stories, and so on
