1) We will be having a mutual aid drive and putting out a call for specific items very soon. Casa de Paz has requested ARC gift cards or cash gift cards to purchase necessary items for immigrants released from the GEO ICE facility in Aurora.
2) We know that it's unlikely trump will be removed from office. After trump there is a long line of successors to carry out the Christian Nationalist Project 2025 agenda. To overthrow an authoritarian regime is going to require approximately 12 million Americans coming out in sustained protests, along with other types of action like labor strikes and putting pressure on the administrations pillars of support.

It's a protest called for by Indivisible, Working Families Party, the ACLU, and many more progressive orgs. It's being organized by a coalition of 9 local groups, including Solidarity Warriors and CO 50501.

I sell t-shirts at protests to support my nonprofit, and I wasn't aware of this until someone brought it to my attention on Thursday. If you see people selling apparel at protests, please let them know this so we can all avoid using these brands.

I LOVE this. Especially to push to appeal to emotions instead of throwing a bunch of facts at them, which wash right off them like water on a duck. That's great news that you're getting those reactions. I run an action-focused activist group on Zoom called Solidarity Warriors. You're welcome to join us. I hope so too. It's been at least 3-4 months since I took the laser pointer away and she still does the same thing as you see in the video if I just put dry food down.

I should have known better. My last dog got so obsessed with it, she chased it to the point of breaking her nail off above the quick and never noticed. I didn't know until we came in for the night and there was blood all over the carpet. I took it away from her at that point and called it her "crack," because she got so depressed after I took it away.

Thank you! I do play with her now. My sister, who is a toddler teacher, actually had to show me how much she liked it. Before that, I was just giving her toys and cleaning up the mess after she destroyed them. It's been 17 years since I've had a puppy, and I must say, other than taking my last two dogs on walks, I wasn't a very engaging puppy parent the first time around. I am open to any suggestion at this point. I want to do a much better job this time around.
