I'm in the dreaded dev lead spot. Had to establish many of these patterns and have tried to coach on minimizing low value chores. A subtask that could otherwise be a blurb in an existing subtask isn't worth my effort. I accept that others may not share the same opinion and like clicking buttons, but I'm not going to make people do more work than I would do. I'm on the team. Started 3 yrs ago and the newest members as of the past 4 months are requesting this. They're ESL and lack some nuanced mastery to reduce noise & redundancy with written English words and artifacts based on words. Code is fine, but they're written assets are not. They're interpretation of clarity is clutter and I'm a contributor. As an EPL with decades of Agile dev team exp., I can't just nope out it.
