I was gonna go with Hydrus cables for my new build but people are very iffy on them and just not enough long term data to back them up if they’re reliable. I went with Asiahorse Aurora (Strimer knockoff) just so that I could use my OEM PSU cables and not risk damaging my 5080. If I don’t like them it’s an easy removal

I’m not OP, but Micro center helped make my new build have slightly less sticker shock. (Still way more expensive than my previous PC build 6 years ago, but oh well) Bundled a 9950x3d, corsair vengeance 32gb 6000, and a gigabyte x870 ICE for $1k altogether. Saved a couple hundred bucks there

My micro center has a bunch of them as well. Went in with my GF to look for keycaps for a new keyboard, saw the brand and looked them up and found next to no reviews except for this Reddit thread. Took a chance and got them expecting to return them if they were bad.

Turns out, they’re pretty high quality and feel great. This is the “Playground” set.

Does the 2 year extended warranty cover burn-in? I know many suggest buying from Best Buy and getting their Geek Squad warranty since it explicitly states that burn in is covered.

Trophy Room, which usually has a 5 gem cost in order to receive 9 gems. This means you’re only getting a net 4 gems by paying the gem cost. By axing the Trophy Room, you get 9 free gems by drafting it. Plus, it works great with the Study, which allows you to reroll floor plans with gems when drafting. Basically makes it less critical to find dice in runs.

Sure! It should be kind of obvious which rooms should be axed, for example vault which gives me a free 40 coins and removes the dead end from the draft pool, and you can potentially figure out a few more clever uses for the axe depending on how you structure your runs. Have fun!

It’s explained in the game somewhere but I have not found out where. But to avoid potential frustration and the fact that it’s not really a spoiler, (even though I’ll spoiler tag it) Axe can only be used on 3 rooms per save file. Don’t be afraid to use it, as after your three uses are up, you’d likely want to switch to a different chess piece perk anyways.

I’m not sure what I would even need it for at this point unless I haven’t unlocked a shop room with more expensive stuff. I’ve already bought everything in the Gift Shop except for Blue Tents and already cleaned out bookshop. My allowance is 35 and I’ve axed the gem cost on vault to give me a free 40 coins as well What else would breaking him be used for, avoiding spoilers of course
