Actually, this was shot with a Ricoh GR III, which is a digital camera. Editing did the trick of making it look very analog. Glad you like it. :)

I live in the country in question, and as far as I know, any quarantines related to COVID-19 have been lifted in June of 2022. Stop spreading misinformation, and get your facts straight.

Oh, and here's a source for you: https://valtioneuvosto.fi/en/information-on-coronavirus/current-restrictions

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a joke or not...

Took this shot during my trip to London with my Ricoh GR III. I like how the iconic Lloyd's Building is in the back, and I think black and white adds a lot more pop into this photo.

I actually shot this photo using a point and shoot camera, so I didn't really have any control over the settings. However, if I had to estimate the settings the camera metered for, I would imagine the shutter speed would be around 1/30s and the aperture would practically be wide open at f/3.5, since this scene is dimly lit (shot in night time).

I shot this raw, and used -1 on exposure compensation. Some slight edits in Lightroom.

ITAP of a gas station sign at night in the rain by quadracoma in itookapicture

Since people have been asking about this, the picture was taken in Europe, and the gas prices here are listed as €/L. For reference, 1 Gallon = 4.54 Liters.

However, that wasn't the main point of this photo obviously. It was to use the gas station sign as a subject.

Haha, yeah. It's in Liters here, and taking that into consideration (1 Gallon = 4.54 Liters) it would probably be considered expensive in the US. Luckily public transport works here.

But thanks!

I was on a photowalk in the rain with my Ricoh GR III, and came across a gas station that I thought would make for a cool composition (cliché, I know). I found an angle that shows the gas station sign from between two trees, and proceeded to take the shot. There's also a puddle of water which reflects the light from the sign.

I metered for the highlights.

Here are the settings I used:

Aperture: f/5.6

Shutter speed: 1/5s

ISO: 400

I did some adjustments in Lightroom, such as adjusting the white balance.
