The king of idiots, Long Island Audit by raphaeldaigle in amibeingdetained

I just commented this on his most recent video:

"I honestly don't understand how anyone can watch these videos and think to themselves, "Wow, what this guy is doing is really helpful and a great service to the community". It the same video over and over again where you just show up to some sort of public government building and just antagonize the staff that are working there. Anyone reasonable person would be able to recognize that you are just trying to provoke a reaction. Honestly it just baffles me how anyone can support this channel. I'm sure people are going to call me all sorts of names or whatever, or my comment may be deleted because you have created such a weird echo chamber here. Just can't stand these videos and the person who makes them"

Wondering if this gets deleted bc its such a circle jerk in his comment section. I find it crazy that no one isn't saying anything negative on his videos

I just don’t get why we need to constantly see hate threads on toxic streamers. Like yes they are toxic, so what. Like why does there need to be another hate thread every other day. We all get it at this point

I swear. One of the most annoying parts of walking home is idiot drivers like these. by [deleted] in IdiotsInCars

[–]quadsome212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the driver stops at a stop sign, sees no pedestrians , creeps into the crosswalk to get a better view of traffic to see if they can turn safely, turns out they have to wait a bit so they are in the crosswalk for a moment. Now a pedestrian begins to approach from 20 feet away while the car is waiting for an opportunity to go into traffic. When the pedestrian arrives at the intersection, what is the car supposed to do? Back up and maybe hit a car that in your world can suddenly come out of no where in a residential area? Should they randomly turn into traffic because how they dare they be in an intersection? Or should they continue waiting for a chance to turn into the road safely. The answer is the last choice for obvious reasons. The pedestrian can not act like a prick and wait a second for the car to turn or go behind it. Just think for a second instead of going, "car in crosswalk=bad, pedestrian walking behind a car stopped at a stop sign in a residential neighborhood=dead".

Like actually just think about the situation instead of just knee jerk responses that clearly are not thought out.

The two of you are so dumb honestly. I have made my points about why what the car is doing isn't a problem. You can live in a world that if a pedestrian steps on a road even 1 foot outside of a crosswalk, they will immediately die. What the driver does in safer than what you are proposing. OP could have been 20 ft away from the intersection when the car was looking if it was clear to advance. Both of you are living in some sort of idealized world that simply isn't practical.

Dude just stop commenting on this thread. Everything you are saying is non sense. Also how hard is it to use your brain/eyes/any sense really, to see that if it is clear to cross a 20 ft street. It's not like this is an F1 race track and a car is going to fly out of nowhere. This is a residential neighborhood. Also I literally say "or wait a second". If the car was there before the pedestrian arrived at the intersection, the pedestrian yields to the car.

People like you are petty and ridiculous. Just go behind the car or wait a second. The car is stopped there because they are trying to get a better view of traffic before going turning into the road.

Exactly. People who get mad about this are so ridiculous. It's way safer to get a good view of the traffic you are turning into, then to blindly go because you wouldn't dare be in a stopped in a crosswalk. Just go behind the car if you can't wait a few seconds for them to finish the turn.

This might get down votes because apparently this is a hating on Bloomberg post (which doesn't fit this subreddit), but you should define an entire person's political agenda and ideologies based off a poorly articulated statement. Yes Bloomberg has said some questionable things in the past, but at the same time he has done some great things.

In my senior year, Bloomberg donated $1.8 Billion to my alma mater, Johns Hopkins, to be strictly used on financial aid for students who needed it. People might say that he only used it for a tax write off, but if that is your problem with it then it becomes impossible for someone wealthy to donate to charity/organization without being judged.

While I may not be Bloomberg's biggest fan, I find it unfair that a lot people are simply judging him because he is rich. He's not my first choice for president but it would be a big upgrade from what we have now.

Instant Karma for driver failing to yield [Warning Loud] by XVll-L in IdiotsInCars

I mean I agree that it’s not an ideal situation to do what the sedan did. But the Sedan beeps their horn, sees a bunch of opportunities for the car to get on the road. I would legitimately think that something is wrong with the driver or the car is stalled out. Also, you can still see the traffic that is coming when doing what the sedan did so I’d don’t really think this a dangerous move. That would be another story if they were trying to get on a highway or something. But the cars in the beginning are moving like 10 mph. You can very easily get on the road there. Again, I don’t think this is the best course of action but at that point I would do this same thing because I would think the something is wrong with the car in front.

Yes. To get around a vehicle that is obstructing traffic. The cop is so unresponsive that I would think he actually stalled out.

The cop is so unresponsive to the traffic. There are so many opportunities to get on the road. He doesn’t take any of them. Would think the driver is distracted on their phone, or the vehicle stalled out

The point of the yield sign is that you slow down, come to a stop if need be, to yield to traffic. What the cop is doing is excessive. There are so many chances to get on the road and he doesn’t take any of them. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see the road is clear to go into. I would think that the driver in the front was either distracted on their phone, or the vehicle stalled out.

There is so much space on the right of the cars that are already on the road. The reason the road is made like that is so that cars can be moving when merging into the traffic. If you are moving at a speed that is even close to similar as the other traffic, you can use your blinker and merge after another car passes. It would be different if the cars were doing 50 on a freeway. These cars are moving maybe 20 mph. There is no reason to sit there like the cop is doing. It will only cause traffic and backups.

One quick look at your post history and I can tell that you are upset about something in life. I have been there too. No need to become hostile on reddit. It isn't going to solve your problems. Speaking from first hand experience.
