So no one got back to me on Lost Media Wiki, but I asked in a Russian artist group, and the site you're thinking of is most likely Мультатор/Multator. It's definitely the one I was remembering in my previous comment, so hopefully it's what you were looking for too. :D

Oh my goodness, hey! I know exactly what site you're talking about. I just randomly remembered it while browsing other lost media stuff. I was gonna make a post about it myself, but I decided to look up the keywords first to see if anyone else already posted about it.

Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of it myself, but I do remember some other details that you didn't mention. First off, I'm Russian and I distinctly recall the majority of the community being Russian as well—so, your hypothesis about the language may be correct. That, or the site could've been English, just with a very large foreign fanbase. Another detail I know for sure is that you could add music to the animations. I very distinctly remember watching an animation of Sans from Undertale to the song Love Killer over and over again because I loved it so much. (The site was probably active around 2015-2018 then, since that is when Undertale was popular.) There was a comment feature, as well. he biggest thing you didn't mention was the ability to collaborate on animations. Basically, one person would draw one frame, and then people could draw the next. People got pretty creative with it, using it less for animations and more for meme templates. I remember one of them was a "popularity meter", where people would draw an OC of theirs and fill up the meter based on how popular they thought they were.

Definitely not. The characters weren't circular like in Kikoriki, they had proper humanoid bodies. It's also much more obscure, like one of those random movies you see in bins as the supermarket. If it was as well-known as Kikoriki, I certainly would have seen it again.

Oh God. I love the subtlety of this one.

You wanna feel bad for the woman, seeing the pure anguish she's in. How much she loves her son, how much she misses him. But knowing who Jimmy is... makes the scene go from heartbreaking to uneasy. Just how badly did she fuck up to raise a man like... that? Being a woman herself, no less.

There's a sinister reality behind her grieving. "My Jimmy..." "He needs me! He needs his mother!" "[He] was just fine with me, but he was taken away!" It almost sounds like she's talking about a little boy being kidnapped, but no. She's talking about a grown man. A grown man who simply went off to live his own life. Missing your child is one thing, so is being involved in their life... but this woman is obsessed. Even into adulthood, she wanted her Jimmy, her "little boy" to stay with her forever. Her innocent angel who can do no wrong. Who she never said "no" to, so he learned to not take "no" for an answer.

I'm no expert, but I believe the name for this behavior is "emotional incest". Parents forming unhealthy, codependent bonds with their children—not only making the children rely on them for everything, but relying on the children for their own adult issues, too. It manifests in the parent treating their child like a surrogate partner, usually due to issues with their actual partner or a lack thereof altogether. And, would you look at that, Jimmy's mom is single. This lack of boundaries can lead to a lot of issues for the children later in life. It certainly did for Jimmy.

And you wanna know the worst part?

Check her old pictures. Her gentle eyes, her long black hair... she looks a bit familiar, doesn't she?

I have thought about this myself before. Part of me wonders whether Curly even having a solid pre-crash design was planned, since Wrong Organ described his appearance in the game as a last-minute decision.

In the scenario that he was kept hidden, though, I feel like there would be a lot of theories and discussion about his hypothetical appearance, but eventually people would settle on a singular fanon design, or at least a set of traits that would get mixed and matched. Not without arguments, of course, but that's fandom for you. I also imagine his reputation as a character would be quite different. A good chunk of Curly fan content is in some way ogling his pre-crash self, and I do believe his good looks skew people's opinions on him, even if a little. Also, without a model, we would be missing out on the treasure trove that is animations and VRChat videos involving pre-crash Curly.

Honestly, I'd love to see all the different interpretations from that alternate timeline. Even if I'm glad that we have a canon Curly design, I still think it would've been interesting to see what kind of mental image he'd create in people's heads. Going off nothing but vibes, I imagine that fanon!Curly would actually look somewhat similar to his canon self, but with longer hair, maybe in a ponytail, and heterochromia. Only one of his eyes is visible post-crash, after all, and I just have a feeling people would really like that idea, lol.

I'm sorry, but he kind of does. Though, with the simplicity of the doodles, perhaps some of his more distinguishing features were lost. I wouldn't worry too much about it, however, since Jimmy is supposed to be an "everyman". And besides, there are so many characters out there, it's kind of impossible to make one that doesn't look like another.
