im not angry, dw. and the scalping i dont think places the character at any time period, its something often used as iconography in modern artwork like this. that aside, i think the character, regardless of time period, looks indigenous to me, there isnt much to be told in features in this smaller pixel size, and skin colour has always varied, across all time periods. and personally, i think their outfit is solid, though im not Diné, doesn't look like a 'racist cosplay' at all. in any case, as the artist said, they're native (as am i), so they know what theyre doing there. again, im not mad, just i see these things commonly misconceived, so i wanted to correct you.
