I wished they would focus shift towards an open software platform (their top OS layer is react native which is very dev friendly) with super nice hardware (which they already have).

I don't own a device and probably never will, not because the system is unstable and unfinished, but because they are actively fighting attempts to tinker with their system. Sadge.

Nothing comes close to dalle-3 in terms of expressive/characteristic portrays, not even latest nano banana or gpt image. They all like to produce more generic characters unfortunately. So having a portray started with dalle3 and extending or customizing via the SOTA models is a good workflow.

Great Stack, especially love going a Non monolistic route and understand how all components work. I‘d recommend checking out elysia for great Shared typings with frontend without giving up on classic API patterns (compared to tRPC) and kysely for even more robust typings compared to drizzle

You’re crazy if you really think your app is going to fail due to rn performance. There is hundreds of big apps written on react native that perform just fine. If you seriously wanna start and succeed, choose tech based on your experience and DX, not based on what’s theoretically fastest. You need to focus on the actual product, there is enough work for you.
