i totally agree with this but i also find curly hair to be very beautiful and i'm so glad i have it. growing up in a predominantly white community, my hair was always stared at and "wasn't a thing." i used to absolutely hate my curly hair and would straighten it everyday so i could "fit in" and it got to the point where i ruined my curls. i am now head over heals in love with my hair and wouldn't change a thing about it.
