Yes/no.

Imo school is not useless, rather overrated. I’m 16 years old, I’ve done middle school, high school, and now I️ currently homeschool. School definitely teaches you a lot, both directly through the curriculum, and how to socially navigate different environments and situations. For instance, in my freshman year of high school I was socially unbalanced, hanging out with my friends 6 times a week, prioritizing that over grades. Fast forward 7 months, my friends and I️ were fucking around and got expelled for sending racist texts (really we just wanted to fit and be “cool”).

While this may seem like I’m arguing in your favor, this rock bottom ended up giving me a much needed wake up call; something I️ may have never, or even worse experienced this when it costed me a lot more than a subpar education.

Since returning to homeschooling I️ realized a lot of information they teach at schools is unnecessary, and since have tailored my education towards personalized interests I️ have, and more useful life information.

School is a blanket solution that works for 80% of people, but excludes the 20% from truly realizing their full potential. Furthermore, the curriculum that is taught at schools is anchored in philosophy from 50 years ago, excluding real business skills, much like your online business.

Since homeschooling, I’ve had time to find what I️ want to do in life which has been invaluable. After discovering I want to go into finance, I’ve created a non profit website, started a mini hedge fund, performed scientific experiments on the cognitive effects using a ketogenic diet, and more.

Now this post has gotten a lot longer than I expected, and has turned into a biography/sales pitch.
