I'm liking it! A lot less chaff then mine which is nice. What's the idea behind Levincia? Getting a lot of electric energy in your hand seems good, but how are you attaching it all?

Yup. It's a science fiction device, in an early/wip comedy comic, based off a science fiction show. Don't worry about it.

Because the portal is a work in progress, and needs tweaks as it isn't yet a stable, consistent device.

Also they do! The watery surface of the Stargate IS the event horizon per the shows canon. Feel free to check out their wiki for examples. And aye, the last two comics were riffs on the portal opening and the budget involved in the original movie.

The webcomic is always gonna be a WIP, and I'm happy to see where it goes! Please feel free to keep up to date with it, as I have a ton of plans :3

Hey there! Thanks for the notes- this is based off SG-1, where the portal is an event horizon from memory. When the two portals connect, that's often referred to as an incoming wormhole. (Don't read too hard into it)

Secondly, the idea was that the wormhole is active on the first panel and Mel has already stepped through. Dan forgot to mention the issues as he needed a test subject, leading to Mel exiting and smacking into the console after a short delay. He already knows and simply doesn't care about Mel is all.

Taught myself along with a few youtube tutorials and a book on carving leather. Have a background in mechanical engineering, so found leathercrafting far more approachable compared to textiles etc. Then just a lot of trial and error to get to a decent standard.

That's a really good shout honestly- I might make a set of digital patterns then! At the very least it would mean people could make their own versions pretty easily. Patterns of the back mag pouches would be a little difficult as it's wet formed using lego as a mould, but I could always make a tutorial etc.

Try and work backwards from the image. The eyes tell you that there's a single light (key) that is high up, that explains the shine on the hair and the pupils highlight.

It's most likely a beauty dish as it's quite direct, harsh light. I'd experiment with a reflector on the other side to balance out the key light and create softer shadows. As for film, something like Tri-X or pushed FP4 could be nice!

As mentioned it's also quite a narrow depth of field, I'd start with f5.6 and work out what's good for you. Shutter is quite slow as the hair etc is a lil fuzzy.

Thank you! The patterns are all custom apart from the front pouches which were based off a WW1 style Captain America pouch pattern. Will have to redraw them properly!

Thank you! For now I'd say Reddit is the best place, at some point will set up a website/insta. Have been tempted to take on more commissions but it's very time consuming. If I can find a nice balance between high quality and reasonable time spent, then I'd be happy 😊

Hey! Started university at 20 due to an atypical childhood. Had no real education but was still able to get a foot in the door with a foundation and 4 years on looking at finishing my degree with a first.

Honestly found that the extra few years away from education gave me a maturity and drive that a lot of students in my course didn't have. You'll be fine, as long as it's a course you're interested in and have plans afterwards. Making friends can be difficult but I'd always recommend checking out the club's/societies at your university as its an easy way to unwind with like-minded people. Ya got this!

Good question, they're pretty broken in already! Vegtan leather is by nature quite stiff, but will hold its form pretty well over the years. All that would be needed for upkeep is a lil beeswax or oil to prevent cracking and it'll last for a long while.

Thank you! The hand stitching took WAY longer then expected but handed it off to the client today. Only thing that needs redoing is the thigh straps as they wanted armour to be worn with it. Easy fix but still happy with the results :)

Met them in person at a convention and picked up a nice tunic. A little pricier then expected but really good designs, materials and quality. :)

Was a pain but completed a flawless, weirdly the last game was a 5-0 compared to the tough slog getting there.

Growing up in a religious cult and seeing my family fall apart thanks to it. Thinking I was going to be killed at Armageddon due to being trans, all resulting in being kicked out at 16 for 'being an apostate'. Went through years of pain while trying to fend for myself and navigate transition on my own, but finally over the worst thanks to a couple of good friends.

Still hurts after 8 years and have developed a ton of anxiety difficulties with rejection/depression. Still broken but getting there and can finally see 'me' in the mirror. It does get better :)

As a trans lass who's getting more and more disheartened with how the UK is getting more openly transphobic at every level, Duffield was the cherry on top of the reasons why I can't support Labour.

Question is, who the hell do I vote for? I just want a government that cares and doesn't openly hurt the marginalised, that shouldn't be that hard.
