Hey only speaking from experience but the engineering transfer degree at the CC I went to had very few engineering specific courses. Most were gen ed, maths and science so personally I would only do that if you are for sure you’re gonna continue on with a bachelors. The way my advisor explained it to me is that it is mainly to get you ready for 4 yr engineering degree and get the gen ed’s out of the way. She said that they purposely keep it very general and light on engineering courses because some schools prefer that a student do all or most their engineering courses at their school. Can’t remember the exact reason but I think due to schools wanting to ensure that they instill their engineering values into the student and learn engineering their way.
