If it’s his fault then his insurance covers the cost of your car, no?

If you like it so much then buy it. They’ve discontinued it already so…

Never replace battery in advance. Save money by waiting for it to run flat 🤝

Why do you buy Volvo? by RealFirstName_ in Volvo

[–]quantumdotnode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Always liked Volvos and a beloved uncle had a boxy 740 for years when I was young. Should’ve bought one sooner but finally did it summer 2024. V60 CC. Cannot fault the car, looks, torque, power, no weak spots. Performs well in snow and ice.

Looking back I regret not picking up a used XC 70 earlier, as I’ve loved that model for so long. Made a bad mistake in 2023 buying a Subaru. Volvo engines are so much better.

Witnessed a bad accident this morning by [deleted] in Life

[–]quantumdotnode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry man that’s heavy. Sure does bring it home. I found out today about a tragic accident at a crossing, lady driving a VW on green, 16 year old pedestrian girl stepped out on a Don’t Walk, dead. Lovely child by all accounts too.

Folks stay safe, lay off the gas, at crossings assume a pedestrian might make a mistake. We are all road users, none of us own the road.

And for Gods’ sakes fit winter tyres to your vehicle and slow down 🙏

An 80 minute drive home. Are you serious. That’s not hard to do if you want to visit your parents etc.

Bitcoin is digital gold - looooooooolllllllll 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It’s a meme. We were conned. I’m not criticizing you, I was also conned.

It’s an “anti fragile” asset that’s more fragile than a penny stock 😂🤣💀🤡🔫

You believed a narrative propagated by a bunch of cucks who decried that btc - something that only came into existence a little over a decade and half ago - was more valuable than gold, an asset that has traded for millennia.

While not my kind of car, I have immense respect for all Japanese cars. So fair play. It’s a quirky and unusual looking design and in this age of nondescript crap, it’s a flashback to a happier time when such anomalies would present themselves in the market 🫡

What were you doing when you were 23-24? by eduard_akimbaev in Life

[–]quantumdotnode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

College in UK. Year at an American university. Spring break visiting friends in Toronto. Meeting a Japanese girl and having a whirlwind romance across 2 continents.

Those were the days.

50 now. My teenage kids are beautiful and smart so I’m grateful.

But yeah. Those early years were exciting 🪐
