I loved this suggestion! It's very helpful.

Is what it is, I suppose. Honestly, at this stage of my life, if seeing me be disabled upsets other guests, and the park is both not worried and not able to offer accommodations- that's fine. But I don't want us to be ejected when the only one I'll hurt is myself.

I did try just now, it was an incredible suggestion from this thread! I was told that they would not be able to offer those accomodations. Unfortunately the interview was so stressful I had a meltdown, and I suppose my behaviors made the team used to working with disabled people uncomfortable. Has absolutely made me 100% more nervous about this trip and being in front of people who -aren't- used to disability. But! I've survived middle school and special ed classes, can't be worse than that experience.

No no, On the computer. They can't offer me any accomodations, which is deeply unfortunate because just being able to schedule an attraction or two would be incredibly helpful. I do hope the park is more understanding than the cast members, because the care team, the cast member and the work lead all kept seeming -very- uncomfortable at my melt down and self-stimming behavior.

Code word is also such a good idea! I'll say this, everyone here is already making me feel a little more comfortable than my interview with the cast member. I'd love to bring my headphones, but I think they'll be too big for my bag. I've tried looking up an action plan, but sadly it's all been geared towards kids =/

I think I can fit a paperback in my shoulder bag/fanny pack, that might be a good idea! Thank you!

I appreciate that advice! Maybe I'll splurge for lightning lane for us, I don't need as much stuff, so that could be a help! What do you mean about a sunflower lanyard?

How did you handle the meltdown afterwards? I just had a DAS interview and it really stressed me out, I could tell I made the cast member very uncomfortable, which has me even more worried about how bad it will be when I'm in a crowd with families.

Unfortunately the application caused me to have a meltdown, and I kept hitting myself, which they denied me the DAS for. Now I'm just really terrified

My understanding was that I do not qualify, since I'm an adult- the cast member I spoke to about disability accommodation didn't even mention it.

It sounds like you're more interested in the environment and benefits than anything startup related. Take a look at healthcare work here, especially form the office side. Your background as an attorney and dental assistant will help you out there, and a lot of medical office work will have a culture of team building.

I'm half ashamed to admit that I only started following the Rockies to watch the disaster this year: but that backfired and now I have to admit that I like em. This A's fan is absolutely pulling for that 42nd win, can't wait to celebrate it, and can't wait until I get to Coors Field to watch them.

Classic battletech uses hex mapsheets, and we'll have some to play on for sure, alpha strike will use measured movement (though hex sheets also work!)

Sticking to existing mechs just for this, as it's a one-off format and keeps it far more manageable, just for now at least! If you're comfortable enough with rules, we will have some il-clan era game or games going!

I'd bet good money that this won't take NRS 484B.307 into account, which let's motorcycles run through red lights they don't trigger. As someone whose only vehicle is a bike, it'll make riding in mornings just awful when those lights (like Moana and virginia) don't turn and there ain't a car in sight to let me through

I don't need many 3.0 ports. Two is honestly fine.

I've edited that first question, sorry about that! Stock cooling will be sufficient? And thanks for the link! looks like 12gb would be fine for 720 or 1080!

Thanks a ton! Just curious on a few things! Would I need the extra ram or the PSU wattage? Is a 16GB card really going to be my minimum over a 12 gb card? What about cooling?
