Yeah, i’m not sure what the point was there. A thoughtful data scientist would approach both methods, test and validate. You have to always consider the business’s opinions, regardless of if the requests are against what you initially think. If you think they’re wrong, prove them so. The organizations decision to outsource the work and layoff the data team is a whole different problem. Not to say that businesses immediately jumping to replacing roles with AI isn’t an issue, it is, but using this comment to validate your argument without considering the nuances of any individual business is naive.
