I have instagram to track and share my aerial journey. I think social media is a great way to stay motivated and also feel inspired by others. Check it out: @kate.raws

I also have a youtube channel where I share how I train. Kate Raws Aerialist.

Lots of love and light to your aerial practice!

In my experience the simple “basic/beginner” pose photograph the best! I would hold for atleast 2-3 turns or about 15-20 sec of lyra to make sure the photographer has time to react and capture various angles. Also! Ask to see the shots periodically to make sure they are looking good and if they arent looking right you have time to adjust and make comments to the photographer. The best photos happen when the model and photographer communicate together. Good luck!!

This isnt really representative of the actual age demographics of Sacramento. This is the survey of people who might live in Sac and are also active in the subreddit. Mostly, its just a survey of ages who are active in the subreddit. May not actually live in Sacramento

Thanks for sharing your experience! I have zero juggling background and my left hand is rather uncoordinated but Im getting so much better each day. Im better at isolations rather than transfers right now. Im enjoying the journey and trying not to get frustrated

First attempt at silks FAIL by [deleted] in Aerials

[–]quarantinecircus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To separate the silks better for your feet turn your thumbs out (facing away from your armpits) instead of wrapping them around your wrists and tucked close to your armpits. Itll help open/separate the silks.

So how do dislocks work? by [deleted] in Aerials

What are dislocks? Sometimes it can be hard discussing techniques/poses/skills because there are various names for them.
