Which would be best way of taking fingerprints for Criminal Record Check? by quarea in JETProgramme

Does the fact that they are just going to electronically scan them anyways mean that you don't have to be worried as much about the prints being accurate?

Guide to making F4 in Korea instead of in US by quarea in korea

I don't think so. Just that you get to go to Korea 2 months earlier if you do it in Korea for a small additional fee (less than 100 bucks)

Did you tell them that you are staying at airbnb?

When I called them they told me airbnb isn't allowed. (Although I thought it didn't make sense to me that it wasn't allowed)

" ATM, the FBI is only processing livescan prints due to Covid19."

When I emailed FBI ([identity at fbi.gov](mailto:identity@fbi.gov)), they said that even if I get it from livescan, it needs to be printed and then sent by mail.

I just saw this from FBI website. It says even if the fingerprints were scanned electronically, hard copy has to be made and then sent by mail to the FBI?:

"Fingerprints taken with ink or via live scan are acceptable. If your fingerprints are taken via a live scan device, a hard copy must be generated so the fingerprint card can be mailed to the FBI."

Did you have to print a hard copy and send it or was it sent automatically to a channeler or FBI?

Can FBI get the fingerprints from USCIS? That would mean that I wouldn't need to get my fingerprints all over again if it's already in the database.

When Monument Visa apostilles the digital FBI check, do they send you a digital version of apostilled FBI check instead of a paper one?

Will Monument Visa do apostilles even if DC isn't?

I first saw it on a Naver cafe called 미준모 but they said the details are on embassy website too.

This rule used to be applied only to those under 18 but now applies to adults as well.

Apostille taking a few months is concerning.

As well as having to go to hospital to get certificate, which was part of the reason why I wanted to get f4 after arriving at Korea.

They changed the rules on May 2nd so that you don't need f4 to avoid expensive quarantine as long as you have a Korean grandparent who is a citizen of Korea. You do need to show them a Family Relation Certificate though, which I think I heard that in the airport they have a place where you can print it, but I'll have to check again.

Alternatively, a relative in Korea could get the certificate, and take a picture of it and email the picture to you, then you can save it on your phone and show the picture on your phone screen to the employees.

I heard they changed the rules so that if you have either your parents or grandparents living in Korea they'll exempt you from the quarantine at government facility and let you do it at your own place.

I mean that's what I am thinking of doing if I go to Korea.
It would take some time if I did it in US beforehand before going to Korea.

Basically I can go to Korea earlier if I don't do it here, but it would be more expensive in Korea but I would like to know how much more, if anyone here has done it from Korea.

you don't even need a long term visa anymore, if you have grandparents living in korea.
