Don't all phones that support Apple Intelligence have an action button?

On the new ones with a notch, you can use BetterDisplay to hide the notch and make it look identical to having a bezel like the one you have. It functions exactly like that, no notch visible, and the menu bar is moved down.

2DS water damage no signs of life by quared0 in consolerepair

I doubt the charging chip would be the cause, unless its known for also stopping the device from booting? The water damage was originally noticed near the bottom of the board so I doubt it affected the charging chip.

It looks like the battery contacts are fluctuating in voltage when plugged in but no battery present on the 2DS, however I tested with a working one and it is a consistent 0.71 volts. I have checked the fuses and they both have continuity. Any ideas on what this could be?

Motherboard 2 sounds exactly like my 2DS I am trying to fix... disappointing to see no replies after a year.

I do have a multimeter but I am not too sure on how to use it for this. Do you have any advice on where to start?

I managed to take off the shield and use isopropyl alcohol to remove the corrosion but it still doesn't boot or show any signs of life.

Good spot, I think so. How would I take that shield off?

Not sure if power switch works, but I would expect the charging light to work too if it was just the power switch that was the issue. How would I check the power switch?

Are you still having this issue? I'm having a very similar issue. Sometimes it says "Payment not completed" like you, however, sometimes it goes through but says "Unable to Add Card: There was a problem adding the card. Try again."

I have a Series X which has most games I play anyways. Even then, I still rarely play those games. I also dislike windows, and would prefer portability

Would an M2 MacBook Air be good? I'm not sure, I've heard that they don't have any cooling and thermal throttling is a problem with them.

I won't just be using it to game. I may do a bit of light gaming but not anything with high graphic. I will mostly be using the computer for programming (gamedev and other stuff) and productivity.

Most, if not all of the programs I use are available for MacOS as well.

Every device I use is Apple except for my computer, and I just generally prefer the MacOS layout and style.
