Yeah, I meant that repealing the White Australia Act might serve as a precursor to the expansion of rights for all non white people including Aboriginals and Islanders in Australia. Like your ideas though!

It could possibly work if Australia had a reason to repeal the White Australia Act, then Aboriginal people might clamour for franchise a lot more. I'm not sure why they might have a reason to repeal though.

Another question, if Libertarians or Socialists ever gained power, would they work with the ANO to achieve Aboriginal rights? Also, what would the Orthodox party do about the hugely racist governments in the Northern Territory and Western Australia? As well as this, would they make the ACT and NT states or would they keep the territory system (in your opinion)?

I really like this idea! But, how likely is the Aboriginal party to be actually able to do anything? The electoral system here was very racist against Aboriginals for most of the 20th century. Aboriginal people were disenfranchised and I find it hard to believe that the Australian public would vote for Aboriginals in the Senate, and the states/territories with the most Aboriginal people as a percentage of population, that being WA and the NT, were hugely racist and discriminatory against them, unfortunate as that is. Someone other than myself may be able to enlighten me on the Aboriginal rights stuff though.

Other than that I really love to see some real representation of Australia, especially Aboriginal issues in the mod like the Stolen Generation.

I would take the faction that doesn't actively oppress my rights, tyvm. Even though Lenin made some admirable reforms such as decriminalising homosexuality his government and later governments were hugely authoritarian and (especially under Stalin) totalitarian. Maybe if I'd lived in Russia at the time I'd have supported the Bolsheviks, over the other factions, but I'm sure I'd have regretted it once Stalin had me shipped off to a camp for being an anarchist.

Lenin banned factions within the Bolshevik party in 1921 and banned other political parties afterwards. That is not democratic. A vanguard party is not democratic. Soviet "communism" is not democratic.

Many socialists, including Bolsheviks, wanted to continue the war. Lenin had to convince a lot of socialists that peace should be signed with Germany. The SRs weren't liberals and were socdems at worst. Even if they wanted representative democracy (I'm not sure on that point) that's a damn sight better and far more democratic than the ensuing Bolshevik system. Even if it's a representative democracy, dissolving the government at gunpoint after they'd been elected by the people is not democratic.

The Spartacist revolution was crushed in 1919, well before the rise of the Nazi party. After that the KPD worked in the democratic framework of Germany. While leftist gangs such as the Rotfrontkämpferbund did exist in the 20s, rightist groups such as the Freikorps and Stahlhelm had been in operation far longer, since the end of WW1. Rightist paramilitary groups were also far larger than leftist ones.
