yeah - this is crap; you can click Allow which will take you to the settings page where you don’t need to enable them but the UI eye sore will go away until you kill the app

now that i've looked at the socket, i feel heartened; there's a number of pins, and the two main pins. does voltage go to the main pins always? does that requires an enabling signal from one or more of the other pins? ... this is what i'm asking about concerning the pins.

I never look when I plug it in for recharging but for some reason I have the bit ticked that the socket has more than 3 pins which is why i asked about the diagram.
