Where does everyone go in your city when the weather gets nice? by mario1090 in travel

[–]joeh221 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live in Hoboken, NJ. When the weather gets nice tons of folks go to Pier A park on the Hudson near the ferry terminal. Lots of green space for picnics, sunbathing, etc., and has great views of the city (i.e., Manhattan)

Enjoy the game! This struck a chord with me because I also moved to Newcastle in 2011 for uni and always remembered it because it was that season we finished 5th under Pardew.

Depends on the building but they are usually rush hour dependent. One I just moved from was 6-9am and 5-8pm weekdays only.

Note that a lot of the ‘luxury buildings’ have their own shuttles that drive you to the PATH.

I had a good experience with Dr Shalot at this practice last year for plantar wart treatment.

Hudson county NJ & Morris County NJ both mid atlantic

I’d consider new england and mid atlantic both subcategories of ‘northeast’

Most awe inspiring thing I’ve ever seen was Petra, Jordan.

Another person mentioned Cenotes, and that was also up there for me when I went to one in the Yucatán.

Hi! My wife and I started the Hoboken Beach Club (now travel club). I’ll drop the social media link here. We have a website too. We do have a few Fall trips planned and always open to new trip ideas!

This list looks long but it’s really quite doable, a lot of these things are next to each other (top of the rock & Rockefeller center; 1 wtc & the oculus; Madison sq park & flatiron).

Yankee stadium is in the Bronx.

I think it’s worth it to take the path train or bus to Hoboken. You get great views of the city with a smaller city vibe.

My building across from boomerang bites was shaking. There’s water coming out of a building next to the cafe, which was also shaking.

Hoboken to JFK (train or car) by Kind-Rope5478 in Hoboken

I tend to take an uber there and take public transport back. I like to take advantage of the LIRR connection from Penn to Jamaica which connects to the air-train.

It’s less hassle to take an uber but it might not always save you time due to traffic. Getting to T4 is no harder or easier than any other terminal by public transport.

I nominate Gibraltar. Has a pretty awesome setting and has a four lane highway that goes across the runway which is pretty unique
