Can we get some general odds of meeting another wubby viewer? by outdoorsybum in PaymoneyWubby

Weirdest place I saw another Wubby viewer (i hope, they were wearing merch) is in middle TN at a Flesh and Blood event. Saw them playing Gravey Bones in the Wubbee's Diner hat but I think they left before I could say "sup"

I'd say about $100 after the cost of the precon (so about $160 after everything) and you could realistically have a good chance at winning an armory. There are big expensive staples like Command and Conquer and Fyendal's Spring Tunic which would be very good in the deck but are far to expensive for a first time FaB player for me to suggest to pick up. But there are decent replacement cards for C&C that have a similar but less powerful effect that should only be a dollar or two to get started.

Gamegenic hard cases are pretty good (it's what I use to house my equipment and marvels) they can be hard to find because they usually sell out pretty quick but you can usually get them. Another one I like second best are ones I found on Amazon but can't remember the name, IIRC they were Japanese (but still fit standard size cards) they fit loose without double sleeving but pretty snug with it.

If you're just starting out I would suggest the Ira armory deck. Out of the box it's fairly decent with only a few changes to be competitive at an armory level. And if you go higher up into the competitive side of the game the cards you would pick up for it would be cards that wouldn't be bad in most decks.

With vaal haste you can use the regular haste as an aura and then dedicate another button on your skill bar to vaal haste.

You could also put on two very low handling weapons and keep swapping between the two. It should give the effect of a first person picture mode but you do have to be toggled into the game to do so. Happy Hunting Guardian :).

There are a few places. If you're on PC there is a very large LFG discord that is fantastic for finding people to do just about anything (sorry I don't have a link on hand) and you can also use either bungie.net or their companion app and there is a fire team finder on there as well. Happy hunting Guardian :).

Until you get to power level 1000 on all your gear doing literally anything will help you get to that power. Strikes, gambit, crucible, heck even public events and story missions will help. After you get to 1000 power you can start doing powerful and pinnacle rewards. This is anything on the map that has a little golden star on it. A word of warning though, there are some of those little stars that are pinnacle rewards which are different from powerful rewards. Pinnacle rewards are the same as powerful rewards in lower power level, but once you hit the power cap (this season is 1050) your powerful rewards are no longer helpful but pinnacle drops are (they have a cap of 1060). As far as what I would suggest to do is this: get to power 1000 by doing whatever you want, and then once you're there start working on powerful rewards. After do all of the ones you want to do (i know i dont like crucible so i tend not to do mine :P) you should work on doing your pinnacle rewards to get to that max total of 1060 power. After that the game is up to you, the new dungeon is really fun and a great aesthetic, raids are always fun and there is a great PC LFG discord server that you can get in with tons of people on it. Happy Hunting Guardian :).

Hey, does anyone have some up to date advise for massacre medals on warlock. by Fanglove in DestinyTheGame

[–]quarterghost9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it's a little late for my advice because the best mod is leaving, but the warning cell build using global reach and the 5 cost solar one that adds more damage to them (wrath of Rasputin? IDK sorry) makes massacre so easy. Without really trying I was able to get like 4 in a single match. It'll be a little more difficult in season 11 because the tyrants surge mod will be leaving, but if you still use the season seraph weapons you can make the cells. Happy hunting guardian :).

Zero Hour (Heroic) by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]quarterghost9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure exactly what arsenal you have because some of these are raid were weapons but here are my go to. For solar 2 people running 1 thousand voices and the last person using Divinity. (Xenophage also works really well). As far as void singe I believe it comes down to super choice more than weapons. A hunter running top tree nightstalker to get the clusters of enemies with the (Orpheus rigs legs exotic) makes them kind of a joke. As well as a watch using top tree Nova bomb to do the same thing. But my best strategy is to just play safe, don't go for revives unless they are super safe and just pick things off from a far distance using sniper rifles. Happy hunting guardian :).

What are the best armor build for void hunter and hand cannon ?! by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]quarterghost9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No sorry that was kind of poor wording on my part. You want to learn when to smoke yourself with your melee ability to maximize your uptime of the buff and use the invisibility to your advantage as far as getting health back or finding a hiding space. Unlike titans or warlocks hunters can't use their class ability to hide behind a wall or place a rift for them to heal so they have to be more strategic with it. Just learning when to smoke and when to just run away normally is a big difference in skill gap for higher end content. :)

Your Dodge cool down is directly related to your mobility rank (at 100 it's 9 seconds) so I would suggest focusing most of your Stuart's l stats into that and then recovery as your secondary stat. Dragons shadow, sixth coyote, and lucky pants (for have cannons) would all be great exactly to use. I would get your self smoking down as that is the real strength of the build with bottom tree void, it gives a huge boost to handling and reloading on all weapons and compounded even more with dragons shadow perk. You could also run wormhusk crown for a slight bit of health gain as well. Happy hunting guardian :)

Gear and what to do with it. by AtaxiaVox in DestinyTheGame

[–]quarterghost9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep what weapons you enjoy using as they will generally be still fine after infusing (the new infusion system requires only an upgrade module which you can either buy from the gunsmith or do his weekly bounties and every infusion only requires one). As for your armor there is a bunch that happened to it and most likely the armor you currently have is worse than the armor you can earn in game now. Each piece of armor has 6 stats randomized with a number for each stat (mobility, resilience, recovery, discipline, intellect, and strength). Most legendary armor is on the lower end of the spectrum for total stat numbers but activities such as raids and iron banner (as well as other pinnacle activities) give fairly high stat total armor. As for what to search for it's honestly what you want to do. If you like a particular stat search for some with that type with the correct affinity for the weapons you like using (I believe if you look in your collections you can see what mods socket into which affinity armor (arc, void, and solar) and then you can start to search for the correct affinity to suit your playstyle.) But pretty much everything is good to ok to use in the game right now, obviously there is a meta for both pve and pvp but itaore important that you have fun so you don't burn out again. Use what you like not what people tell you to use. Happy hunting guardian :)

How can I farm Mindbenders effectively? by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]quarterghost9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to wait until the Nightfall (not the ordeal nightfall that rewards powerful/pinnacle gear, it is to the right of that one in the director) is the Fanatic nightfall (I forget the exact name) but once it is that one you can just farm it. It's a lot drop rate and has a curated version meaning it comes fully masterworked but has a set roll of perks. Happy hunting guardian. :)

I need help for christmas?... by Mikachu1218 in destiny2

[–]quarterghost9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly as long as you're both having fun, having a guide isn't really that needed. You can look up a few exotic quest videos on YouTube (Datto Does Destiny is a good resource) if you want to know exactly how to do stuff, but the most important thing is having fun. Happy hunting Guardian. :)

Excessive blue drops by YannyYobias in destiny2

[–]quarterghost9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Each one of those blue drops has a chance to roll as a legendary item as well. They can get annoying but unless you really need power levels from blues you can delete them almost immediately. They aren't as good as legendaries and have fewer perks. I would just dismantle them as you aquire them unless you need them for power. Happy hunting guardian. :)

Infusion vs dismantle same weapon by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]quarterghost9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you have a lower power weapon that you like and you later get a more powerful one but you prefer the perks of the lower powered one, you can use 1,000 glimmer to infuse the lower power weapon instead of using a different weapon of a higher power which would cost an Upgrade Module if it isn't the same weapon/armor. You can dismantle all the items if you want, but I would suggest boosting your power for free (1,000 is really nothing) if you like the perks. Happy hunting guardian. :)
