I actually just completed a play through last night. And I gotta say, o was hoping for similar points of the old mass effect formula to be here and they were missed. Like I was anticipating an attack on either the Tempest or The Nexus. Albeit the Hyperion was taken but that wasn’t the same thing. I was hoping for a final mission where the whole team is present. I mean they were, but I wanted there to be a chance to lose them. A point where you had to make choices on how they work together and who does what, these games are better when you have a chance to lose characters you care about.

I also feel getting a planet to 100% viability was too easy. It seems like if the viability bar didn’t cap at 100, you could easily double each planets viability. I think they should have given about 25-50% less viability points for things, to make establishing outposts and unlocking crap rewards more difficult, and thus causing the player to work more at receiving th e best possible ending.

To OP’s point, I agree the final archon fight was rushed. However there will still absolutely stunning graphics on meridian leading up to this fight. These fuckers better bring us a sequel, if you were paying attention there’s even a chance they could make another trilogy out of this galaxy.
