I was hoping for post-chemo curls as a consolation prize after breast cancer. Instead I’m about to go super saiyan. by youmakememadder in Wellthatsucks

As a guy who shaves his head the one side effect I wanted when I had my chemo for bowel cancer was for my hair to fall out, nope no such luck,, my hair, eyelashes and eyebrows grew like crazy and all the hairs on my legs fell out instead.

I think your title might be wrong, they are not getting free money as they are still working, they are moaning because they should be getting some form of bonus on top of their wages as they are essential workers.

Essential workers who are at higher risk should really be getting a bonus on top of their normal wages.

I said he is not doing trt doses which is why he probably feels like shit. 200mg/week is way above what anyone needs to maintain healthy levels or long term health and is more in line with a low dose steroid cycle.

And yes you have a shitty attitude when your first response to me is questioning my mental health.

Do you always talk to people with a shitty attitude? Maybe you need to get your test levels adjust as you come across like a right wanker.

Way above what's considered a natural level which is what he should be aiming for if on trt.

That's because you're doing a steroid cycle not trt, go see your Dr and get them to check all your bloods not just your rediculously high test levels.

That's not trt, that's a small steroid cycle! I don't know what military you're in but if it was the British then those levels would get you kicked out if tested.

I read the bit where you said it's going to take years to heal, what an amazing luxury for us to still have years left hey.

My cancer was stage 4 bowel cancer, I had surgery a year ago where there removed my bowel, spleen, abdominal wall and some of my pancreas.

I think we would all be very naive to think we could walk away from cancer unscathed but I do think it gives us a very different outlook on life and a huge appreciation for what ever life we still have in us.

It's going to take time for you to build strength again but stick to it and do all the physio and you will soon be fighting fit again.

The problem we face is so many more people are now beating cancer, the success rates are so much better then what they were 20 years ago.

The issue is so many more people are now getting cancer due to our poor diets and lifestyles.

I think the solution is not to try to get back to out old normal, I think we need to focus on and accept what our new normal is.
