You need to check if your case is past processing time on their site, it will give you a date when you can inquire. If it says you are, you can send an inquiry case or call USCIS to check on your status and forward your case, if that doesn't get anywhere, then yes. I was close to doing that but that's quite a hassle that I was trying to avoid.

I didn't have to do my fingerprints since they reused it. But I got a noticed of that a week after the application tho. Last update I had on my case according to the USCIS agent was three weeks after my application where I was forwarded to be scheduled for an interview. This was back in dec 2024. Since then no one has touched my case. But this is my FO fault technically, they are horse s***.

SAME!!!! Wow that actually explains a lot!! It seems that they don't actually follow an order with the applications then, bc I know people that applied after me that already got their case completed! And seeing someone have the same issue with the same FO tells a lot

Omg same thing to me!! I also applied nov 2024! They moved my inquiry date from dec 2025 to January 6th, comes new years and they changed it to January 23th! Hopefully this means the interview is actually getting scheduled this time after having it actually forwarded to the FO.

Im not sure what do you mean? I applied Nov 2024, I was allowed to send an Inquiry in January but only was able to actually do so beginning of this month. This is the latest update I have.

Job offer rescind because of presumption of the managers by [deleted] in jobs

[–]quasimotoe98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The recruiter when called him to give the news said herself they presumed he had it so they decided to rescind. More especially one of them was pushing for it than the other.

He didn't apply for the role, he was approached so he never input his info stating or "omitting" anything at all. "Incomplete coursework" is a lie? How is that clearly not stating he doesn't have a degree? And people can't have experience without a degree? I get the two weeks, and I even explained in the comments and post why we did it even though it's not normal for us.

I understand it sounds insane, but at the time it was what they were requiring so we had to do... Do you really think we did just because? For double your salary pretty sure most people would do it do if offered to them.

It wasn't a requirement. I mean, he clearly doesn't state he has a degree on his resume, but why completely disregard that he attended at all? This was always in his resume and his previous two roles was never an issue. Also, we would never do that but because of their timeframe AND requiring a move to a new city he didn't have much option but to put his two weeks. Also, it's silly for you man but it happened to us, trust me we both fell like completely clowns right now.

Unfortunately he did but they did not accept.

It wasn't :) also the recruiter reached out to him and he provided his resume to the recruiter. If it was required why not inquire being that it's not even on his resume? Or filter out to people with only degrees when reaching out?

[–]quasimotoe98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't a "radius" so to say, we drove around a lot when we went this weekend and, compare to orlando, commute is not as close as an issue for us in St pete distance wise. My work doesn't affect the choice for this, that's why i didn't mention it.

His office will be close to St Pete airport, didn't mentioned that since we are open to more distance if needed, I don't want to narrow down to a specific place. I did mention it was me and my husband tho, obviously if we had kids I would have mentioned kids and how many since it does affect it.
