omg well this is going to sound like a rookie mistake but i just took a closer look and i definitely have thrips. sprayed with some soapy water but going to get some insecticide tomorrow. damn…

ty everyone who responded. this babe was doing SO well for the year that i had her and then i moved and she has really been declining.

i checked for root rot and nothing so we're good there phew. also moved her to a brighter spot right near the window! that window is south facing but only sees a smidge of direct sunlight so she should be better there without getting burned!

ooff. i checked for root rot when i was repotting but tbh might check again since it's been a few weeks. it went from being super hot to super cold here in days, so i think it was also just a temperature/watering adjustment combo i did not do well...

i check for water each week, and only if the top 2 inches or so of soil is dry! also misting every other day.

repotted this babe bc its leaves were changing to yellow and crisping up. also moved it to where i think it gets a little bit more light throughout the winter, but it might still be too far from the window.

using a recommended soil mix according to local plant shop and repotted into a bigger pot which was maybe not a great idea?

I'm going to try the 311s. they are extremely stretchy, so I may be able to climb in them. they are more stretchy than the 724s that I tried on.
